AMHA Fighting Policy
AMHA Fighting PolicyThe following penalties for fighting will be enforced:
If player within AMHA is involved in 3 fights during the regular season, the player will be suspended from the playoffs & possibly the remainder of the season Conduct unbecoming a player may be met with additional consequences including expulsion with any refund strictly falling under the AMHA Refund Policy. Fighting scars the reputation of Arnprior Minor Hockey and the Arnprior Community and this action will no longer be tolerated or accepted. Players who are finishing off their minor hockey careers have in the past participated in end of year fights. Until now there has been no repercussions for these players, however the Association and its' group of volunteers spend countless hours in hearings and meetings to resolve issues surrounding such actions. There is no place for fighting in minor hockey and all players within the sport should be permitted to play the sport safely within rules and guidelines set forth by Hockey Canada.
