Responsibilities of a Team Volunteer
- Any person who helps out with the team has to have proper qualifications please visit Bench Staff Certification section of this website.
- Helpers who are registered as players with AMHA must wear full equipment.
- Helmet Regulations (ODMHA 13.0 (a))
- Any coach, trainer, assistant coach or volunteer who is on the ice at practices must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet affixed and securely fastened to their head.
- 1st Offence – Any on-ice participant found to be in violation of this Regulation will be given a warning by a person in authority. This warning may be verbal or written and shall be reported to the District Chairperson.
- 2nd Offence – An automatic suspension from all hockey activities until a formal hearing is held by the District’s Discipline and Appeals committee.
- 3rd Offence – An automatic suspension from all hockey activities until a formal hearing is held by the ODMHA Discipline and Appeals committee.
