AMHA – PAID Ice Scheduler
The AMHA is looking to fill the paid ice scheduler position for the 2026-2027 hockey season (not this year but next year)!

Ø  The position is paid in installments over the course of the season.

Ø  The interested individual can (and is encouraged to) shadow and receive live training from the current ice scheduler over the course of the upcoming 2025-2026 hockey season.

Ø  The interested individual would have access to a full user guide and will receive instructions and guidance each season from the UOVMHL’s league scheduler.

Ø  The individual must be organized, able to coordinate multiple tasks and competing events at the same time, is a team-player and has good interpersonal skills.

Ø  The successful candidate will automatically become a member of the AMHA Board of Directors and will have voting rights for any actions taken by the AMHA over the course of the season.


The position involves regular planning and scheduling duties including:

·        Works with NSC staff to manage ice allocations for pre-season, regular season and play-off scheduling.

·        Plans and schedules the pre-season sessions for conditioning, try-outs and sort-outs, as well as any needed start-up clinics.

·        Works with league scheduler and AMHA convenors to schedule regular season games and any playoff series, and allocates and balances practice ice allotments over the course of the regular season.

·        Works with AMHA convenors, bench staff and RIC during the hockey season to reschedule home games as needed.
