AMHA Rep Try-Outs

If you are trying out for the AMHA rep teams for U11, U13, U15 or U18 you must add it to your shopping cart as there is a $40 fee.   You register through "Arnprior Minor Hockey 2025-2026 Season" upon entering registration portal.

Upper Ottawa Valley Aces
Upper Ottawa Valley Aces will be hosting tryouts for U11A and U18AA in September. Registration for both of these tryouts will be available via the Aces website beginning in August. If your player plans to tryout for either of these teams, you will need to register with AMHA first using the $0 Aces tryout option. If your player is trying out for Aces and is not selected for their team, you are still entitled to the regular registration fee as long as your $0 home association is received before Aug 1st.

U21
Some associations in UOVMHL are gauging interest in the U21 division again this season. AMHA registration for the U21 age group is open at $0 for now to see if we have enough players to form a team. If you are in this age group and interested in playing, please register as soon as possible. Payment will not be required unless it is determined across the league that we can run that division. There is also a possibility of partnering with Renfrew to form a team if there isn't enough interest in Arnprior alone.

AMHA Conditioning

Conditioning will be covered by AMHA for the 2025-2026 year.  Dates for those sessions will be sent out closer to when they are to all those that are registered.   A player may not participate in on-ice activities with multiple associations at the same time without the explicit permission of the association and district. This includes attending conditioning within their home association before or during tryouts with another association.

AMHA Cancellations/Refund
If your child no longer wishes to play hockey and the season is not cancelled, then the regular refund policy will be applied.   Please visit AMHA Registration Refund Policy for that policy.

Please reach out to [email protected] for any questions.

Registration for non-Arnprior residents
We are pleased to inform you that there will be no added registration costs to families who reside outside of the town of Arnprior this season.  With the recreation agreement ending between the town of Arnprior and McNab-Braeside, the town of Arnprior will be charging AMHA a fee for all players who reside outside of the town.  The township of McNab-Braeside has agreed to cover this cost for their constituents, and as a result, no additional fees will be charged to families.  All exchanges of fees will be done via AMHA.

Financial Assistance
AMHA believes that all kids should have an opportunity to play hockey.  Unfortunately, financial concerns present a barrier for many families.  To ease the financial impact, there are a number of sources for financial assistance available to AMHA members:

Canadian Tire Jumpstart provides significant financial assistance to families in the Arnprior area for hockey and other sports.

Kidsport is a local organization dedicated to assisting families in the Arnprior area with sports-related financial assistance.
